Open road approaching massive snow-covered mountains in Western Canada
In Development · Expected Launch Late Spring 2027

The EXPLR Discovery App

A tourist-directed mobile experience being developed to turn five British Columbia highway routes into journeys through independent businesses, hidden gems and regional points of interest.

Turn the highway into the experience

Discovery that keeps tourism local.

EXPLR is being designed to direct travellers beyond the familiar stop and into the locally owned places that give a region its character.

The planned app will showcase independent tourism businesses and regional points of interest across five British Columbia tourism highway routes. Corporate chain listings will not be included.

Travellers will be encouraged to discover, visit, share and complete route challenges, creating new reasons to explore small communities and stay longer along the way.

Development status: The EXPLR app is not yet available. Its expected launch is late spring 2027.
